Meet Dr. Vu

Dr. Tam Vu is a skilled, Board-Certified Periodontist dedicated to providing advanced periodontal and implant care with a gentle, patient-focused approach. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from LECOM School of Dental Medicine and completed his specialty training in Periodontics at LSU School of Dentistry.

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he has achieved the highest level of recognition in his field. Dr. Vu brings advanced expertise in microsurgery, IV sedation, and implant dentistry to his patients, offering a wide range of services including soft tissue grafting, regenerative therapies, ridge augmentation, and complex implant placement. Known for his clear communication and calm chairside manner, he prioritizes patient comfort and education throughout every step of care. Service to others is a cornerstone of Dr. Vu’s practice; he regularly volunteers at outreach clinics to provide essential care to the community.

Outside the office, he stays active playing beach volleyball and practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He also coaches volleyball pursuits that perfectly reflect his discipline, precision, and commitment to mentorship and continuous growth.
