Single Tooth Implant Replacement

Single Tooth ReplacementWhen a single tooth is missing or needs to be removed, the best replacement is often a single implant supported crown.

  1. We will first provide a complete examination which may include x-rays and/or a CAT scan (in our office).
  2. After thorough consultation and treatment planning with your dentist, we will jointly formulate your treatment plan and present it to you. Only after you are comfortable with what has been planned for you will we proceed.
  3. A single implant is placed into a very precise location in order to provide anchorage for the new crown to be provided by your dentist. This is often done at the time of tooth extraction but may need to be delayed if adequate bone is not present.w If the tooth to be replaced is in an area that shows, we will have already planned to have a temporary ready to deliver at the time of tooth removal.
